Christmas Bazaar

Many thanks to all those who attended our Christmas Bazaar on Friday. We raised over £440 for group funds.

Thanks to all those companies and individuals who provided draw prizes and to our band of supporters who manned all the stalls.

We were very lucky to have a visit from Father Christmas who saw all the Children.

Christmas Bazaar – November 29th

The Christmas Bazaar will take place on 29th November. The doors open at 6.30 but help to set up will be needed from 5.00 onwards.

Quiz Night – October 2019

Mike looked after the children whilst the adults took part in the quiz.

Many thanks to our guest quiz master Geoff. It made a change to have a music quiz, even though some found it very difficult. Also out thanks go to our supporters who ran the bar and cooked the sausage and chips.

A fun evening was had by all.

Thanks also to the wining team who donated their price money to Group Funds.

Quiz Night

26th October, 7.00 pm doors open. Quiz starts at 7.30pm.

We have a guest quiz master and there will be games for the kids in the upper hall.

Bar, food and easy questions. Enter a team of 4 to 6 or just come along and we will add you to a team.

Hog Roast 2019

Many thanks to all those who attended the annual hog roast on the 27th of July. The weather was great, the pig cooked to perfection and the addition on Andy’s Shack made a great social event and we raised over £1300 to support the Group Scouting activities.

Hog Roast

A great vote of thanks to all those who helped and came and spent their money at the hog roast on the 16th July.
It was a great day, blessed by great weather and only a few flying ants.
The event was supported by our local fire brigade and for a change a fantastic shownamns engine.
We raised a great amount that will help fund a good number of our scouting events througout the year.

Summer Fete

The Group Summer Fete is Saturday 16th July 2016. All welcome.
Bouncy Castle, Hog Roast, Steam Traction Engine, lots for everybody!

Air Rifle Club

The Scouts section now has a regular air rifle club that meets at different times from the normal Scouts meeting.

Model Boats

Some of the Scouts are busy building model boats with the assistance of the Eastleigh Model Boat Club. Many thanks for all their efforts over many months. It is great to see the Scouts learning new skills.
The model boats have been completed and all are working. Some of the Scouts have caught the boating bug and have joined the local model boat group.
