Quiz 2022

Many thanks to all those who attended the quiz last night. Eight teams battled it out for the two quiz prizes. Congratulations to the Ging Gang Goolies who won the main quiz, and the Bacon Rolls who won the picture quiz.

Over £360 was raised for Group funds which was fantastic!

Autumn term subscriptions are now due. Please ensure thatthe payment of £30 is made as soon as possible and use the payment code as described in the following guide.

Christmas Bazaar – November 2022

Our Chrsitmas Bazaar will be held on November 25th. Doors open at 6.30pm.

Lots of Christmas things to do. See Father Christmas visit Christmas Stalls. Tombola. Food – burger and chips, sausage and chips. This event is open to all.

Quiz Night – 22nd October 2022

Our next fundraising event is our ever popular quiz night. Specially selected questions for non quiz experts, and a few harder ones.

Fun for all the family with childrens games and music in the upstairs hall and the quiz downstairs.

Bar from 7.00pm, quiz starts about 7.30pm.

A date has been set for our main fundraising eveny of the year, 23rd July 2022. A return after missing the last two years.

Horse Race Night

The Group fundraising team are organising a Horse Race evening on the 11th June 2022. All are welcome a great, fun evening for families and friends.

COVID Guidance for Parents

Following the change to the COVID Guidance in England the Scout Association has reviewed its risk assessment and we have been able to return to normal meetings.

Christmas Bazaar 2021

We have decided that we won’t arrange our normal Christmas Bazaar this year. Hopefully we can do this next year.

2021 Quiz Night

It was great to get back to seeing a room full of people enjoying (it was painfull for some) getting back together to test their general knowledge against some challenging questions.

Everybody enjoyed themselves and we raised £297 for group funds.
